Annual gala of the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation: a collector’s rugby ball and a shared commitment to research

A long-standing supporter of the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation, Foundation Unlimited once again took part in its annual gala, held on September 17 in Toulouse.
This fundraising evening dedicated to advancing cancer research raised €160,000, a record-breaking amount that reflects the commitment of the many partners and sponsors united around a common goal: advancing research and improving patient care.
Among the items acquired during the charity auction was a particularly symbolic piece for the Toulouse region: a giant TOULOUSE rugby ball created by artist Franck Célaire and signed by the entire Stade Toulousain team. This unique artwork was purchased by Foundation Unlimited in support of the projects led by the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation.
A long-term commitment to research
Beyond this fundraising event, Foundation Unlimited has been supporting the work of the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation for several years, contributing to advances in medical research.
Since 2024, this commitment has been strengthened through €900,000 in funding for the CRISTAL – Unlimited Chair. This research program focuses on the study of dormant and chemotherapy-resistant cells in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), one of the most aggressive forms of leukemia.
Conducted in Toulouse, this research explores new therapeutic approaches aimed at targeting treatment-resistant cells, with the ambition of improving patient outcomes and contributing to the development of innovative therapies.
Through its support of the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation, Foundation Unlimited reaffirms its commitment to backing high-impact social initiatives and working alongside researchers to help advance the medicine of tomorrow.
