Foundation Unlimited: committed to supporting Bolivian youth

In partnership with Alalay and various local stakeholders, Foundation Unlimited is contributing to the renovation and development of a property owned by the association, located in the heart of Santa Cruz.

The aim is to create a transitional home for young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds or vulnerable situations, designed as a genuine stepping stone toward independence. Beneficiaries will receive comprehensive and personalized support, including:

• Psychosocial support, helping them overcome challenges and build their future plans;
• Independent living training, focused on daily life and household management;
• Financial education, enabling them to develop responsible budgeting skills;
• Employment support, through workshops focused on employability and professional integration.

The project aims to provide young people with the tools, skills and guidance they need to build their independence and prepare for their professional future.

For more than 35 years, the Alalay Foundation has supported children and young people living in situations of homelessness, abandonment, exploitation or human trafficking in Bolivia.

Its approach is built around five strategic pillars: prevention within at-risk communities, child protection, street outreach, advocacy for children’s rights, and strengthening community engagement.

Through these initiatives, Alalay pursues one essential objective: helping young people achieve independence and become active participants in shaping their own future, despite the socio-economic challenges they may face.

Building a dignified and sustainable future together

The combined efforts of Alalay and Foundation Unlimited aim to create a safe, supportive and empowering environment.

This new living space will provide young people with dignified accommodation and adapted facilities, including equipped kitchens, dormitories and communal areas.

Beyond housing, the center will offer a structured environment where young people can develop the skills necessary for independence and gradually prepare for their social and professional integration.
